In his presentation, ‘Solutions Beyond Connectivity’, he talked about Aircel having 80,000 km of fibre connectivity across the country and one the largest Wi-Max network in the country.

Sastry explained how the government could leverage Aircel’s network for its MPLS requirements in a secure and efficient manner. He also gave examples of how Aircel is working with the government in areas such as smart metering, automated tax collection, vehicle tracking for transport, through it’s data connectivity SIM cards that enable machine to machine communication.
