Reliance to set up aerospace technology research centre in Bengaluru

Reliance Group has decided to set up an aerospace research centre in Bengaluru. To be called the Dhirubhai Ambani Centre for Innovation and Research, the facility will be designed for research, development and innovation in aerospace technology, Anil Ambani, chairman of Reliance Group said.

Speaking at the inauguration of Invest Karnataka 2016, the global investors meet, organised by Karnataka government Ambani said the proposed centre will generate more than 1,500 highly skilled jobs and will be set up under Reliance Defence. The proposed project will support government’s plan to accord the highest priority for indigenous design, development, he said.
