Rail budget 2016 — The Railway Ministry launched handheld terminals for Northern Railways travelling ticket examiners (TTEs), which means that TTE will no longer be required to carry reservation charts on trains. With the hand-held devices, TTE to provide reservation status instantly and will also be able to view indianrail.gov website on the device for other info.
