Infor and Oak Barrel Software enhance supply chain collaboration and speed product development for process manufacturers

Infor, provider of business application software announced a strategic partnership with Oak Barrel Software, to enhance Infor10 PLM Process (Optiva) with additional modules for supplier collaboration, product specification, document management and recipe building. These enhancements will enable improved supply chain collaboration and document management capabilities to speed time-to-market and to help ensure greater accuracy of product development across the supply chain.

“The process manufacturing expertise of both Infor and Oak Barrel Software enables companies to speed product time-to-market and help ensure that products are accurately and efficiently guided through critical steps of development,” said Venkat Rajaji, Global PLM Product Manager, Infor.

The enhanced modules delivered by Infor and Oak Barrel Software include Infor10 PLM Process Material SpecSafe that helps process manufacturers work more closely with suppliers to help them meet specifications, audit compliance, and certification for product requirements. The  Infor10 PLM Process Recipe Builder assists companies in batch manufacturing industries to create recipes that are S-88 compliant. Recipes can be sent using this module directly to MES systems in the plant for manufacture. Additionally, this module allows for process visualization of the recipe steps and can integrate directly with MES Systems in the plant for manufacturing. Additionally, Infor10 PLM Process Product SpecSafe enables process manufacturers to provide new product specifications quickly across the entire supply chain.
