To make the government more transparent and accountable, Assam Chief Minister Tarun Gogoi has launched a CMO web portal–tarungogoi.in through which public will be able to directly interact with him. “This is a platform for the people to air their grievances and get them resolved. People can now directly interact with me and provide feedback on any problems faced by them,” he said after launching the portal.

The portal has more than 60 innovative features that include live web streaming and social media integration. Gogoi hoped it would bring the Chief Minister’s Office closer to the people as the new web portal would make the government more transparent, accountable and responsive.
“I appeal to all sections of people to apprise me of the problems faced by them. Valuable information gained through interactions with the people will serve as a guiding light in governance,” he said.
