Amazon’s new wholesale platform in Karnataka

Recently, both Flipkart and Myntra had re-launched their mobile website for users that both the online players had discontinued citing more users from their app. However, this mobile website is a lite version of its website.

E-commerce major Amazon has officially launched its wholesale business-to-business platform amazonbusiness.in.

E-commerce major Amazon has officially launched its wholesale business-to-business platform amazonbusiness.in. The business which was in the beta stage since May and a members-only operation, is now live and has been thrown open to all sellers in Bengaluru and Mangaluru. Eventually it will be rolled out nationally.

In this business, Amazon will be the seller, purchasing directly from the manufacturers. Amazon has tied up with ICICI and HDFC that offers interest-free-credit for up to 48 days to meet the working capital needs of the businesses.

In a press conference , Kaveesh Chawla, general manager of Amazonbusiness.in said, “We have received an overwhelmingly positive response from businesses in Bengaluru.”
