ACMA joins forces with SAP

Automotive Component Manufacturers Association (ACMA), the nodal agency for the Indian Auto Component Industry, in a special engagement with SAP India brought forward a unique proposition for its members across India. As a part of this proposal, SAP provided customized packaged offering of ERP and Business Analytics applications to the ACMA members. Since its initiation, SAP has seen significant deployments and traction for its solutions amongst the member companies.

On-Premise or On-Cloud (Subscription Based Hosting) model solutions were offered to ACMA members for the standardized SAP solutions for Rapid Deployment, while special price for purchase for additional software licenses was also offered to the 100+ ACMA members who are already using SAP solutions. This association-wide initiative conceptualized and driven by the IT Committee of ACMA and SAP is first of its kind for the industry.

“Enterprise-wide solutions are imperative to integrate the supply chain and efficiently manage and respond to dynamic business needs. A solution which is tailored to cater to the needs of the automotive sector will enable quick access to reliable business information, thereby servicing our customers better,” said Arvind Kapur, President, ACMA.  “Our members have already shown keen interest for this offering and we are expecting more in coming months.” he added.

As a part of this alliance, SAP with its partner ecosystem is providing the ACMA members with an enterprise class solution that will be easily accessible and affordable for the emerging businesses helping them being more agile and scalable in the competitive landscape. This platform will also enable faster deployment and a structured go-live process with emphasis on ongoing training and interaction with its members.
