eGovWatch: UP government to implement mobile governance facility

Uttar Pradesh government will soon launch mobile governance facility to provide various services such as birth and death certificates, among others, to the citizens.

The application ‘UP one’ has been hosted on national mobile app by the Union ministry of Information and Technology, an official spokesman said.

Various state government services could be used through the mobile app, he said adding that 26 services of eight departments will be provided under it.

Services like birth and death certificates would be provided through this app. He said that principal secretaries, secretaries and departmental heads have been asked to make services mobile compliant.
