The Chattisgarh government has come up with a mobile application and a digital archive in a bid to widen its communication with the masses and ensure transparency in administration.

“It (the app) will bring transparency in administration and the role of modern technology is of vital importance to convey the public welfare policies to the people,” Chief Minister Raman Singh said while launching the products.

Interested citizens can update their knowledge regarding the developmental activities and upload photos and video footage through their Android phones with these applications, Singh said, adding that people living in far-flung regions can
also make full use of the application.

The app and the digital archive is developed by the Public Relations Department in technical co-operation with the Chhattisgarh Infotech Promotion Society (CHiPS).

On the occasion, Information Technology and Energy Department Principal Secretary Aman Kumar Singh said people will know of the activities of the state government via the app.
