eGovWatch: AP Municipal Administration Department launches Facebook page

Andhra Pradesh Government’s Municipal Administration & Urban Development Department has launched an official page on Facebook to ensure better connectivity with citizens of 110 urban local bodies.

“Citizens of 110 urban local bodies in Andhra Pradesh are requested to make better use of the social network initiative and register their grievances/complaints in respect of services provided by these bodies,” said the Department’s Principal Secretary, Giridhar Aramane, said.

The grievances registered by citizens would be monitored by the Department and it would be ensured they are addressed by authorities concerned on a priority basis, he said. The page can be accessed at www.facebook.com/urban.andhrapradesh.
