Yaskawa Named The New Technology Partner of The Robotation Academy

As of now Yaskawa is actively involved at the Technology Academy at Deutsche Messe in Hanover: The manufacturer of the MOTOMAN industrial robots supports the Robotation Academy as a new technology partner and is now also represented there. The official handover of the presentation area took place on 12 February at the “9. Robotics Congress” in the run-up to the Hanover Fair.

“We are delighted to have Yaskawa on board, another world market leader among robot manufacturers, and thus to be able to take the subject of robotics to an even higher level here in Hanover in future,” said Sebastian Brinkel, Director Sales & Customer Relations at Deutsche Messe Technology Academy GmbH, welcoming the new technology partner.

Yaskawa (yaskawa.eu.com) will be presenting new robotics trends and current models, including an MRK-capable hybrid robot MOTOMAN HC10, in the pavilion of the Technology Academy in the center of the exhibition grounds on an area of approximately twelve square meters. Four live demo and training cells offer a wide range of opportunities for customer events, workshops and further training.

“In Yaskawa, we have gained a very active partner who will liven up the Technology Academy even more with their attractive program,” says Sebastian Brinkel. “It’s a win-win situation.” Yaskawa is planning a total of around two dozen events for 2020, including a monthly “robotics breakfast” where questions on the subject of robotics and automation will be answered by expert Yaskawa colleagues.

Platform for future-oriented production technologies

The Technology Academy, a joint venture between Deutsche Messe and the Volkswagen Group Academy, sees itself as an international platform for networking, knowledge transfer and events relating to future-oriented production technologies. Under its organizational umbrella, it combines the Robotation Academy, the Additive Manufacturing Academy for industrial 3D printing technology and the Digital Reality Academy.
