Accenture announces the launch of Accenture Insights Platform, a cloud-based, end-to-end analytics solution to simplify analytics and deliver real-time, actionable insights to businesses. The platform is a flexible Analytics-as-a-Service solution designed to help a range of business users, from the C-suite to data scientists, make data-driven decisions that can solve business issues and create new opportunities.

The platform has a preconfigured, industrialised end-to-end architecture that typically can be provisioned within 24 hours and generate initial actionable analytics insights in weeks, as opposed to conventional approaches that can take months. Centralised cloud management capabilities are provided via the Accenture Cloud Platform, a multi-cloud management platform.  Its components are also quickly customisable to meet a company’s changing needs; those components include: a platform that ingests, stores and analyzes data; a catalog of industry, domain and client-centric applications, including the advanced analytics applications developed through the Accenture Analytics Applications Platform; and data visualization, data science, insight execution, and data management services. The solution also features enterprise strength security and 24/7 support.

Following a consumption-based commercial model, the platform eliminates the need for large, upfront capital expenditures from businesses. This model also makes it easier for companies to expand to new best online casino technologies and benefit from Accenture’s ongoing research and development.

“With the Industrial Internet of Things creating data and digital opportunities at a swift pace, the Accenture Insights Platform helps businesses to use that data and become insight-powered enterprises,” said Narendra Mulani, Senior Managing Director, Accenture Analytics, part of Accenture Digital. “The platform breeds and supports a data-driven culture within an organisation as it is designed to solve business problems in an agile way, encouraging a more dynamic decision-making process for a broad user base.”

Here are a few examples illustrating the business benefits of the Accenture Insights Platform:

·         Utilities Management – Thames Water, the largest provider of water and wastewater services in the UK, established a single view of its operating systems and assets, such as pipe and treatment facilities, and applied advanced analytics to enable more efficient water sourcing and remote monitoring of assets.

·         Workforce Management – A global integrated oil company operating in Canada is making insight-driven decisions to optimize its workforce and meet its maintenance program deadlines; missing deadlines can result in an estimated $10M loss in revenue for each day of delay. The company is analyzing RFID data and using data visualization capabilities to provide streaming information to decision-makers, enabling real-time decisions to help keep the maintenance project on track.

“Speed is a huge differentiator for businesses today — speed to insight, speed to decision making and speed to action and outcomes. As all companies currently have a wealth of data at their disposal and many are applying analytics, the company today that democratizes their data and places the needed insight into the hands of their employees the fastest so they can make data-driven decisions will be in the best position to defend, transform and disrupt in their markets,” said Mulani.
