Agriculture minister Radha Mohan Singh has launched two mobile apps on crop insurance and agricultural market for farmers. 

Agriculture minister Radha Mohan Singh has launched two mobile apps on crop insurance and agricultural market for farmers. The mobile app ‘crop insurance’ would help the farmers not only to find out complete details about insurance cover available in their area but also to calculate the premium for notified crops, coverage amount and loan amount in case of a loaned farmer.

The app on ‘agrimarket mobile’ can be used by the farmers to get the market prices of crops in the mandis located specially within 50 km radius of the device. The concerned farmer can also get information on prices of various commodities in other markets across the country through this app.
