NIIT and Airports Authority of India (AAI) partners to create a internet savvy workforce

The training will be imparted to the group A, B & C category of employees to ensure successful implementation of e-office, upgradation of computer skills in line with technological enhancements and to make them computer savvy for better efficiency at workplace.

NIIT has entered into a strategic partnership with Airports Authority of India (AAI), to provide instructor-led class room training to over 5000 employees from AAI.

The training program aims to make the employees computer literate and internet savvy. The formal agreement between NIIT and AAI was signed by Shivan Bhargava, Group President-Skills & Careers Group, NIIT  and  Rajiv Goel, Executive Director (Training) AAI, in the presence of Anuj Aggarwal, Member (HR), AAI.

Under this agreement, NIIT will impart training to the employees of AAI in MS-Office and Internet & System introduction. NIIT will provide both theory and hands on practical sessions to the students. The first batch will comprise 1500 employees from AAI.

Rajiv Goel stated that, the training will be imparted to the group A, B & C category of employees to make them computer savvy to have better efficiency/productivity at workplace.

Anuj Aggarwal, emphasized on the need for upgradation of computer skills of the AAI employees for successful implementation of e-Governance initiatives and a beginning towards digital literacy as part of Digital India campaign. He further stated that the focus of AAI management is to provide competency-based training to its employees to ensure quality services to its stakeholders.

The training program will be instructor-led, delivered in English across various AAI centres in the country. The session for each batch will be for a span of 5 days for 8 hours per day. The training will be imparted to the group A, B & C category of employees to ensure successful implementation of e-office, upgradation of computer skills in line with technological enhancements and to make them computer savvy for better efficiency at workplace.
